    Viktenheten - Medical weight loss and community

    This page contains the current terms, privacy information, cookie information, AI assistant terms, complaint routes, and contact details for Viktenheten.

    1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

    These general terms (the "Terms") describe what applies to Viktenheten’s website, digital features, subscriptions, medical services, community features, and AI assistant. Different parts of the service have different acceptance steps.

    By using the website, you accept the terms that apply to website use. When you create an account, verify with BankID, order a subscription, use community features, or approve the AI assistant, additional terms, consents, or care information may need to be approved in the relevant flow.

    Medical care, treatment, and medicine prescribing are always based on individual medical assessment, patient information, and the consents required under the Swedish Patient Act and other applicable healthcare rules.

    Viktenheten’s services are intended for patients who are at least 12 years old. Patients under 18 may use the services with guardian involvement or consent where required. The care team may also make an individual assessment of the patient’s maturity, confidentiality, and guardian access under applicable healthcare rules.

    Your account, BankID verification, and access to My Pages are personal. You may not use another person’s identity, share login credentials, or use the services on behalf of someone else without explicit support from Viktenheten.

    Viktenheten is operated by Curevo Health AB (company reg. no. 559518-9753) and provides both medical care services as an IVO-registered provider and community services for user interaction and support.

    2. MEDICAL SERVICES

    2.1 Provider and licensing

    Viktenheten is an IVO-registered provider offering evidence-based medical weight loss through licensed healthcare professionals. All medical advice and treatment follow applicable healthcare legislation and professional guidelines.

    2.2 Medical treatment

    • Treatment is provided by licensed physicians and healthcare professionals
    • Individual assessment and treatment plan for each patient
    • Follow-up and continuous medical checks
    • Collaboration with the patient’s regular primary care center when needed
    • Prescriptions, dosage, medicine choice, and continued treatment can never be guaranteed and require an individual medical assessment
    • Viktenheten may decline, pause, or end treatment if it is considered medically unsuitable or unsafe

    2.3 Patient responsibility

    As a patient, you are responsible for providing accurate health information, following prescribed treatments, and attending scheduled visits. You are also responsible for informing us of any changes in your health status. In urgent or rapidly worsening situations, call 112 for life-threatening emergencies or contact 1177, an out-of-hours clinic, or an emergency department for medical advice.

    3. SUBSCRIPTION, PRICE AND PARTNER DISCOUNTS

    Subscription and price

    The Care Program is an ongoing subscription with no binding period. The monthly fee is shown before payment and covers the parts of the Care Program stated in the order flow. Medication and other external costs, such as pharmacy costs, are not included unless expressly stated otherwise.

    Withdrawal rights and distance contracts

    When a subscription is entered into at a distance, Viktenheten provides the information required before you confirm the order, including total monthly price, what is included, that medicines and external costs are not included, payment period, cancellation, and withdrawal rights. As a starting point, you have a 14-day withdrawal right from the agreement date. You can exercise the withdrawal right by contacting us in writing. This does not limit your mandatory legal rights.

    Trial period and payment

    If a free trial period is offered, the length, the price after the trial period, and the payment terms are shown before you confirm the order. When the trial period ends, the subscription is charged according to the price information shown at checkout, unless you have cancelled the subscription before then.

    Cancellation

    You can cancel the subscription through My Pages or by contacting us in writing. The subscription continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated in the order flow or required by mandatory law.

    Payment failures and access

    If payment cannot be completed, Viktenheten may, after notifying you, pause or limit access to subscription-based services until the payment issue is resolved. This does not affect your right to seek necessary care through ordinary healthcare channels.

    Price changes

    Prices for regular subscriptions and offers other than Saluto x Viktenheten may change. Material price changes are communicated within a reasonable time before they take effect. A discount, trial period, or previous price statement for such subscriptions does not give you the right to keep the same price level indefinitely. If you do not accept a price change, you can cancel the subscription before the change takes effect.

    Partner offers

    Partner offers, including Saluto x Viktenheten, are intended for the audience stated in the offer. When you use a partner link, you confirm that you are eligible for the offer. The discount applies only to the subscription for which the offer was activated, during one continuous active subscription, and ends when the subscription is cancelled or otherwise ends. If you later start a new subscription, the discount is not reactivated automatically; Viktenheten may, after an individual assessment, approve a new or reactivated offer.

    4. AI ASSISTANT

    Important information about the AI assistant

    Viktenheten’s AI assistant is an automated support tool that uses artificial intelligence to provide support, structure, navigation, and general information based on information you provide or that is available in the service. The AI assistant is not healthcare staff, is not a medical device, and does not replace medical advice, triage, diagnosis, treatment, or contact with your care team.

    4.1 Transparency (EU AI Act)

    • You are interacting with an AI system, not with healthcare staff
    • For logged-in private AI, your personal AI terms show the applicable functions, data sources, retention periods, surfaces, and external AI processors before you approve use
    • Material changes to AI functions, data sources, processors, or surfaces may require you to review and approve a new version of the AI terms
    • Data may be processed by contracted external AI processors, including outside Sweden or the EU, with applicable data protection safeguards. Your data is not used to train general AI models
    • Responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Always verify important information with your care team
    • AI may help draft messages, but messages to the care team are sent only when you review and send them yourself

    4.2 Data processing

    • Your health data, logs, chats, and other information are used only to the extent needed for the AI feature you use and the version you have approved
    • Conversations, AI memories, and technical logs may be stored for continuity, safety, troubleshooting, traceability, and patient-record or audit requirements where applicable
    • Data is processed in accordance with GDPR, the Swedish Patient Data Act, and our data processing agreements. See section 6 for details.
    • You can view and delete AI memories via My Pages. You can also revoke AI consent, but information that must be retained under law, patient record rules, or safety logging may need to be kept
    • Your data is not used to train general AI models

    4.3 Limitations and responsibility

    • The AI assistant cannot diagnose, triage, assess suitability for treatment, or prescribe medication
    • The AI assistant must not give personal advice on dosage, side effects, symptom interpretation, treatment start, treatment stop, or medication changes
    • All medical decisions are made by licensed physicians in your care team
    • If you have acute symptoms, contact 112 for life-threatening emergencies or 1177 for medical advice
    • Patients under 18 should use AI features with guardian involvement or according to the care team’s instructions where required
    • Viktenheten is not responsible for decisions you make based solely on the AI assistant’s responses
    • Private AI features in My Pages require that you review and approve the current AI terms before use

    5. COMMUNITY SERVICES

    Important information about community services

    Our community services (forum, profiles, user interaction) are complementary services fully separate from our medical services. Community features are intended for general discussion and exchange of experiences between users.

    5.1 Forum and user content

    • The forum is a platform for users’ own opinions and experiences
    • Content does not represent Viktenheten’s medical positions
    • Forum information must never replace professional medical advice
    • All communication is moderated to ensure a safe environment

    5.2 User profiles and social interaction

    • User profiles enable personal presentation and networking
    • Follow features and private messages for user interaction
    • Sharing progress and experiences is voluntary
    • Strict privacy protection for all personal information

    5.3 User obligations in the community

    • Do not share medical advice that may be harmful
    • Always refer medical questions to professional healthcare
    • Respect other users’ privacy and anonymity
    • Report inappropriate or potentially harmful content
    • Understand that all information is shared at your own risk

    5.4 Moderation and content control

    We actively moderate community content but cannot guarantee that all content is accurate or appropriate. Users are responsible for critically evaluating all information before acting on it.

    6. PRIVACY AND COOKIES

    6.1 Personal data processing and patient records

    Curevo Health AB is the controller for Viktenheten. We process personal data in accordance with GDPR and Swedish healthcare legislation. Health data is sensitive personal data, and medical information is recorded in patient records where required under the Swedish Patient Data Act. Patient records are retained, protected, and access-logged under applicable healthcare rules. You can request access to your patient record by contacting us. Viktenheten does not disclose health data, purchase data, subscription status, or treatment information to partners such as Saluto unless you separately consent or another legal basis applies. Viktenheten does not currently use the Swedish National Patient Overview (NPÖ) to read or display patient records from other providers. If NPÖ or shared care documentation is introduced, we will inform you and handle consent, access logs, and blocking rights under applicable rules.

    6.2 Cookies and tracking

    We use cookies to improve your experience. You can manage your cookie preferences via the cookie banner on the website.

    • Necessary cookies: For basic functionality
    • Functional cookies: For improved user experience
    • Analytics cookies: For statistics and improvements
    • Marketing cookies: For personalized marketing

    7. USER RESPONSIBILITY

    7.1 General user responsibility

    You are responsible for using all services appropriately and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You may not use the services for unlawful, misleading, harmful, or privacy-infringing purposes. In the event of misuse, non-payment, security risk, or material breach of these Terms, Viktenheten may limit or pause access to digital and subscription-based services to the extent permitted by law.

    7.2 Medical services

    • Provide accurate and complete health information
    • Follow prescribed treatments and medication
    • Attend scheduled visits and contacts
    • Inform us about changes in health status
    • Do not record, distribute, or publish material from care contacts, chats, or other patients without explicit permission

    7.3 Community services

    • Respect other users and our guidelines
    • Do not share incorrect or harmful health information
    • Protect your own and others’ privacy
    • Report inappropriate content

    8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    8.1 Medical services

    For medical services, the Swedish Patient Injury Act and healthcare provider responsibilities under the Health and Medical Services Act apply. We maintain patient insurance and comply with provider requirements. If you suspect a patient injury, you can contact us for information about how to proceed with a patient-insurance matter. If you suspect a medicine injury, medicine-insurance or another applicable compensation route may be relevant depending on the medicine and circumstances.

    8.2 Community services

    For community services, Viktenheten accepts no responsibility for:

    • The accuracy or reliability of users’ posts and comments
    • Medical advice or recommendations shared by other users
    • Decisions or actions users take based on community content
    • Consequences of following advice or information from other users
    • Any harm that may arise from using community information

    8.3 Technical services

    We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the website, My Pages, AI features, or other digital services are always uninterrupted or error-free. If a technical error affects a paid service, contact us so that we can remedy the issue or assess any compensation required by mandatory law. We are not liable for damage arising from technical errors, service interruptions, or force majeure events beyond what is required by mandatory law.

    9. CHANGES TO TERMS

    We reserve the right to change these terms. Material changes are communicated by email or website notice at least 30 days before they take effect when practical and legally possible. Paid subscriptions, care flows, and AI features may require separate approval or information before a change applies. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel the subscription or stop using the affected feature according to applicable terms and mandatory law.

    If you have questions, complaints, withdrawal-right matters, or consumer claims about these terms, subscriptions, medical services, AI features, or community features, contact us via the email above or through our contact form. If the complaint concerns healthcare, you may also contact the patient advisory committee in your region or the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) according to their procedures. If the question concerns personal data, you can contact us and you also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). If you suspect a patient injury or medicine injury, we can provide information about relevant compensation routes.

    Important medical notice

    Always seek professional medical advice for health concerns. Viktenheten is not an emergency care provider. Information on this website, AI responses, and community content must never replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals. In case of acute health problems, call 112 or seek your nearest emergency department.
