You can easily book your first appointment through our website under "Book appointment" or by contacting us directly. We strive to offer quick availability and flexible times, including evenings and weekends. Treatments can be booked from the next day.

To start your video visit, go to "My Pages" in the menu and click "Start video visit". You need a stable internet connection and access to a camera and microphone on your device.

During your first visit, we perform a thorough medical assessment, discuss your goals and health status, and create a personal treatment plan together with you.

We offer evidence-based treatment methods including lifestyle counseling, dietitian advice, and when needed, weight loss medications. The medications work by affecting hunger and satiety signals, delaying gastric emptying, and improving blood sugar control, leading to natural weight loss.

Individuals with BMI ≥30, or BMI ≥27 with associated health problems such as: weight-related pain, reduced mobility, high blood pressure, diabetes, or sleep apnea. A medical assessment is always required to determine suitability.

Results vary individually. Clinical studies show up to about 25% weight reduction with high-dose GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP therapy combined with lifestyle support. Weight loss can begin after just a few days, but clear changes are usually seen after 8-12 weeks. We carefully monitor your progress through regular check-ups.

Treatment of obesity is a long-term process that often continues for a year or more. When treatment ends, some weight regain may occur, so it is important to have established sustainable eating and exercise habits during treatment to maintain results.

Yes, regular follow-ups are important. We typically meet 3 times during the first 3 months for dosing and side effects, then every 2-3 months. Prescriptions are written to last until the next visit at no extra cost.

Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach pain - these are usually mild and subside as the body adjusts. For troublesome side effects, we can adjust the dose. Serious but rare side effects such as severe abdominal pain, gallbladder problems, or vision disturbances require immediate medical attention - call 1177 or 112.

No, treatment is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. You should stop at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy. Treatment is generally for adults, but in some cases we can treat children after a special medical assessment.

Take it as soon as you remember if it is within 2-3 days, otherwise skip it and wait for the next scheduled day. Never double the dose.

Store in the refrigerator before first use. After opening, it can be stored according to instructions, often at room temperature. When traveling, use a cooling bag for safe storage.

Exercise is strongly encouraged and improves treatment effectiveness - we can even prescribe exercise on prescription. Alcohol should be used with caution as it can increase stomach discomfort and affect medication effectiveness.

Always inform your healthcare provider about the treatment when planning surgery as there is an increased risk of complications. The medication can affect the absorption of other medicines - discuss especially with your doctor if you take insulin or other diabetes medications.

Yes, a nutritious diet is important to avoid deficiencies when appetite decreases. Regular activity also helps maintain muscle mass. Our team of dietitians helps you with personal dietary advice and lifestyle changes.

You pay a patient fee of 449 SEK per visit. Any medications are currently paid for privately, as benefits are not provided until TLV decides otherwise, which we hope for the patients' sake.

Yes. Our care is covered by a high-cost protection funded by Curevo Health and reaches the ceiling after eight visits during the same calendar year. You pay the patient fee of 449 SEK per visit until then, after which the high-cost protection covers remaining visits during the year. We register all visits and help you get your free card without extra administration.

We strictly follow GDPR and healthcare legislation to protect your personal data. All information is treated confidentially. You have the right to access your medical records according to the Patient Data Act - contact us and we will help you.
